Apple has revealed the next gen iPhone. The new iPhone 3G gets a plastic built, is slimmer, faster and has a better camera. Powered by a new firmware version, the iPhone 3G is perhaps the most wanted smartphone out there. With US being the primary market, emerging markets like India always have a tough time getting these devices early. But hey, there are plenty Apple fans around here.
Sadly initially only the 8GB version of the iPhone would make it the the indian shores. Based on the response and demand to the same, the 16GB would be considered.

Update: Ok this was a false alarm …. Both the iPhones were launched in India!!
